On Tuesday the 8th of October at 18:00 hours, Bob Vezera Kandetu will present the lecture “The thrust towards Namibia’s Independence ” in the Swakopmumd Museum Lecture Hall. The presentation will be in English.

Joining us for a lecture is the social scientist Bob Vezera Kandetu who will give a public talk titled “The thrust towards Namibia’s Independence” in the Swakopmund Museum.
Author of the book “Namibia in Perspective”, a veteran community activist and media practitioner Bob Vezera Kandetu played an important part in the Independence struggle. In the lecture he will reflect on his book and his role in the Namibian society after Independence.
This public talk is part of the lecture series “The long road to Namibia – the making of a nation”. The initiative was started by the Scientific Society Swakopmund as a contribution to 30 years of Namibia’s Independence. The entrance is free for all.
