Prize competition: 9 March – 31 March 2020

For many years, the Scientific Society Swakopmund (SSS) has been publishing the well-known bi-annual “Reports” with their popular science articles on research and science in Namibia. The SSS now wants to raise the profile of the publication, and is therefore looking for a new name that better reflects the contents. We are looking for a name that can be easily pronounced in all languages used in Namibia, for example, a Latin name. The name may have a connection to the coast (the SSS has a dolphin in its logo), however, it must not exclude scientific articles from elsewhere.
Do you have a good idea for a new name for our publication? If so, kindly take part in our competition. Let us know about your idea by writing before 31 March 2020 to [email protected] , and stand a chance to win a prize!
